Orange Slice Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 18.25oz yellow cake mix
- 3 tablespoons Ground Cinnamon yes it is tablespoons
- 1 cup pecans chopped
- 1 10.5oz bag Orange slice candy chopped (about 24 pieces of candy
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cuo\p amaretto liquer optional

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl mix together cake mix and cinnamon, add pecans and orange slices, mix well.
- In a small bowl combine the oil, eggs, vanilla and amaretto and mix well. Pour this mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until all the ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
- Using a 1 inch cookie scoop or a tablespoon measure the cookie dough and place it on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 12 to 14 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for about 12 min then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
Recipe Notes
Cut or chop the candy into 5 or 6 small pieces.
